Resilience: the defining skill of our time

Transformation, restructuring, pressure on resources, a critical incident, a media crisis or climate hazards: in these moments, an organisation is not facing one problem. Issues pile up, weak signals go unnoticed and teams risk fragmenting precisely when they most need to hold together.

The Sphere of Resilience is no ordinary keynote. It is a “wake-up call” experience that makes resilience visible and tangible. In just over an hour, managers and teams experience from within what stabilises or destabilises a group under pressure: direction, coordination, information flow, complementary roles, trust and available energy.

Equipped with light-up wristbands and guided by inspiring stories, participants take part in large-scale experiential challenges designed to reveal how a group responds to the unexpected. They may need to find their bearings, cooperate, pass on information, divide roles or adjust as a situation evolves.

We observe, we test, we adjust — together.

The goal: establish shared reference points so teams can stay united when things get rough, make clearer decisions and regain momentum more quickly, with trust.

Inspiration

True stories and striking visuals tailored to your managers and teams to explore how groups withstand, adapt and recover from uncertainty. We put words to what often remains invisible: mental load, biases, tunnel vision — and to the levers that change everything: direction, roles, rituals, priorities and recovery.

Experimentation

The wristbands light up according to each participant’s role: in every sequence, the audience enters a cooperation challenge under constraint that makes the balance of a group facing the unexpected both visible and tangible. The experience immediately reveals the mechanisms that strengthen or undermine collective action.

CentraleSupélec engineer and startup executive, Dorian learned resilience where it is measured in decisions and execution. As a founder and CTO, he led R&D, product, operations, and management, with international rollout, patents, and multiple awards. He understands the realities of business leaders and the expectations of large enterprises: hold a course, make fast calls, deliver—without throwing the team out of alignment.

Climate risk specialist, he works on shocks that put a system under strain (floods, wildfires, droughts, coastal flooding, heatwaves, cascading impacts). And when pressure rises, he focuses on the decisive factor: the human side—cognitive overload, biases, coordination, trust, prioritization, fatigue—which he supports to build an embodied, clear-eyed, collective resilience.

Pioneer of immersive experiences and international keynote speaker, Dorian designs formats that don’t just inform: they let people live, feel, and understand in order to turn awareness into momentum for action. More than 30,000 people have experienced his work, from the G7 to CAC40 companies.

How the keynote unfolds

Step 1

Prologue

We begin by taking a step sideways. An image, a story, a tipping point… and one simple question: what enables a system to hold together when the unexpected strikes? From the opening minutes, participants understand that they will not simply listen to a keynote about resilience: they are going to experience its mechanisms for themselves.

Step 2
Keynote programme – Experience it to understand it

Experience it to understand it

The keynote progresses through short sequences: a striking story, a collective experiment, then a debrief. Participants first encounter a challenge before exploring the mechanisms behind it. Direction, information, coordination, complementarity and trust become lived, observable and memorable realities.

Step 3

Turn the experience into shared reference points

We close the experience by making sense of what has emerged. The conclusion puts simple words to what matters most: what weakens a group under pressure, what strengthens it, and the practical reference points participants can take away. The goal is to leave with a shared language for taking action from the very next day — stay united, correct course quickly, protect collective energy and bounce back.

Step 4
Keynote programme – Extend the experience through workshops

Extend the experience through workshops

Following the keynote, workshops help turn the learning into operational reflexes that teams can apply immediately. Working from situations they have genuinely experienced, participants use structured diagnosis and action frameworks to identify what weakens the group, clarify priorities, organise roles and define simple coordination rules.

Who is this resilience conference for?

For executive leadership, the executive committee, managers—and, depending on the context, mixed teams. The experience is especially valuable when the organization is going through a transformation, restructuring, a period of heightened risk, or a chain of surprises—when unity, coordination, and initiative make all the difference. What actually happens during the session?

As soon as they arrive, each participant receives a light-up wristband. The conference then unfolds in plenary through a series of short, dynamic sequences: a brief story to set a reference point, a simple wristband interaction, then a quick debrief to turn what was just experienced into the right reflexes. The Sphere is a virtual animation that reacts live on screen to the group’s balance: you see the impact of choices, you adjust, and the team leaves with a shared language. Request a quote

What technical setup is required?

A standard AV setup is enough: a projector or a screen, plus sound. We bring the rest: wristbands, a sensor, and a control computer. We can connect to your system based on your constraints (HDMI, VGA, mini-jack, USB-C). Request a quote

Is it a “participatory” conference or an activity?

It’s an interactive conference: the pace stays controlled, but the audience isn’t just watching—they’re invited to step outside their comfort zone. Participation is simple (a single gesture) and guided. The goal isn’t to “play a game,” but to spark a collective wake-up call and make visible dynamics that are usually invisible. Request a quote

What topics are covered, specifically?

We put words on what teams experience when things get rough: mental load, biases, tunnel vision, escalations, silos, fatigue, loss of direction. And above all on what changes the trajectory: clear direction, useful roles, priorities, coordination rituals, recovery, relationship quality, and reading weak signals. Request a quote

Can the content be adapted to our context (transformation, risk, crisis…)?

Yes. The core thread stays the same, but the examples and framing can be tailored to your reality: industry, type of transformation, risk challenges, management culture. The goal is for participants to recognize themselves—without turning it into an audit or a “therapy session.” As a conclusion, you can also put questions to participants to capture how things look at that moment. Request a quote

How many participants can you accommodate?

From 30 to 1,000+ participants—the only limit is the room size. The setup is designed to keep the experience clear and engaging even at large scale, while staying smooth to run for the organization. Request a quote

What do managers and teams take away “the next day”?

A shared language and simple reference points for staying aligned under pressure: clarify direction, distribute roles, avoid escalations, protect collective energy, and adjust quickly without splitting apart. The most visible benefit is smoother execution when constraints rise. Request a quote
